Don’t get too excited with the news - ERMI is a scheme
developed by EMSL to increase the flow of lab samples and
fees to their company. Environmental labs have become a dime
a dozen. The good news is the cost of traditional sampling
has dropped as competition has increased.
In response, some labs have developed proprietary testing
schemes to decrease competition and increase fees.
