My understanding is that T-2 is produced by some Fusarium species, which appear to prefer low-oil grains (wheat, etc.). As a result, I suspect they don’t like to eat building materials all that often. As to weaponization, T-2 is relatively easy to make, highly toxic, and has a well-established history as a mammalian toxin (moldy grain can equal dead and injured people, livestock, etc.). Adding to the confusion, there are other mycotoxins with "T-2" used as part of the naming nomenclature. On 6/28/09, Sharon wrote: > Pretty sure on the no T2.
