my son and his family finally got the money saved to get
into their first house.After purchase upon moving in they
found leaks in the master bedroom and the kitchen my son
contacted the realtor and the former owner.The previous
owner did not list any leaks in the home after mold
inspection was done they found it was not a new leak,it had
eaten through the dry wall.The home inspector didn't list
any notice of leaks but the man looking for mold said the
leaks had to have been there for a long period of time.My
son wants to be reimbursed for the repairs he's had to make
former owner is not getting back to him on things and says
he knew of no leaks.My son has taken pictures and
documented everything he's not looking to get rich or
anything,he's just wanting the house in good shape he
thought he was buying,looking to recoup about 6,0000 to
7,000 for repairs, and abatement.should he go to small
claims? they are taped out and have borrowed 4,500 form us.
