Hey Mold Remover, I have not found too many other forum which
actually discuss the industry. Maybe this place can be
resurrected now that the pizzin matches are over.
We do a lot of consulting regarding indoor air quality issues
related to mold, asbestos, and other contamination. I find that
most folks simply ignore the warning signs until mold is
literally walking across the floor ready to attack. I was at a
house on Monday where mold was through the drywall and marching
down the wall from a roof leak.
When I asked how long the leak had been a problem she said “Oh,
about 6 months or so”.
Did you have the roof leak fixed?
“No not yet, but I wanted that mold gone”.
“But you need to fix the leak first”
“I don’t care, I want the mold gone.”
“Ahhh, call ServiceM, they will take care of you”
Folks simply do not understand the concept of home maintenance.
