www.needs.com is good source and so is www.realgoods.com(cheap PUR pitcher but store water in glass). Pamela Gibson in her mcs book has lots of advice. I like distilled but am ok with carbon filtered too. My research on distilled says it doesn't remove voc's or pesticides. Most mcsers use trial and error. Good question.
