    Thankfully, I am not very sick - thanks to mold avoidance.
    As told in Mold Warriors, I celebrate my recovery by climbing Mt. Whitney every year.

    It was surprising to go to CFS groups and observe so many people with the identical clues which led
    me to my conclusions, but it was much more remarkable that they would respond to my story with such
    concerted disinterest. I was pretty desperate, and looking for any way out of being disabled, and
    this tactic proved to be remarkably effective, when all others had failed.
    One would think that doctors and researchers studying CFS would be somewhat "inspired" by this clue,
    yet with the sole exception of Dr Shoemaker, this has not been the case. I am impressed that at least
    there is one doctor on this planet who thinks that a prototype for CFS who is out leading an active
    lifestyle by a planned strategy is a phenomenon worth investigating.
    That's why I take a few moments occasionally to speak up for Dr Shoemakers integrity.

    If I fail to maintain a sufficient degree of "avoidance", relapsing is a pretty good demonstration
    that without following this protocol, all the hiking, biking, kayaking and employment I've
    accomplished over these years would not have been possible for me.
    Having once explained this, if people decide that this is not applicable to them and wish to pursue
    some other therapy, it is out of respect for their opinion that I will offer a few admonitions that
    this would might be a counterproductive choice for anyone who is my position, but then allow them to
    go their own way - as is their right, and their choice.
    Who knows? Maybe they will find some other method for recovery, and come back to tell us about it.
