    Hi Ticked off (and others),
    Thanks for your response (TO- I did settle on a great Lyme doc, a chelation doc, and a biochemist, whom
    I love). And guess what, they TALK TO EACH OTHER. And, after some chelation and other IV's, I am doing
    better. I plan in the future to try to follow Shoe's protocol. To have these docs, it is like the
    nicest feeling in the world. Now I feel like I know a bit about how ff feels. By the way (TO), I'd
    love to connect with you and hear about the doctor you have too. And if anyone wants recs to some great
    NYC doctors (for Lyme, chelation, nutrition), I would love to share the info.

    ff, I just want you to know, that I was not expecting you to defend my experiences. Some folks feel the
    need to because it would otherwise invalidate their own experience. I wrote the details because I have
    been through such a difficult experience, and some people might benefit from hearing it. Apparently you
    are not one of them. It was cathartic for me, and I did my best not to slander. The only comment I
    will make in regards to slander or bashing, is that he did that for himself in my story. I did not make
    up any of it. I wish it were different, and it must be hard for you to hear how someone you really put
    on a pedestal didn't interact so appropriately. Actually when I track this thread back, it made me feel
    better, there were a few people who had pretty bad experiences as well. It is doubtful to me that
    someone would make up a story where he mailed his/her packet back to her and then yelled profanity
    (behind the scenes) -she could hear it while on the phone. Getting back your opinion ff, why would I
    hade the facts? That doesn't make sense to me. His behavior was hurtful, but I should be mindful of
    telling all of what happened, to protect his dignity? Something is askew with your response. I want to
    repeat to you that I did not need someone to convince me that he is not all 'bad'. I do not believe
    in 'bad' people. People make mistakes. People carry baggage. However, wherever or however we can
    durive learning from that, we should.

    I gave Doc Shoe opportunities to respond to me. He still could...
    I am not a closed case or of a closed mind. I am a very forgiving person who happens to be going
    through a lot.

    It is interesting to me that you comment on how 'nice' you were in a prior post. Sounds like it took
    some effort, and I appreciate your stretching yourself. Anyway, I know you are all for giving this
    doctor a voice, but I should have one too. And if I want to write the whole story, it is my right to do
    so. Many other folks who go through an experience like this, would bash. Like I said, I did my best to
    be respectful.

    I am glad to have a forum- you can choose to read it and choose to respond if you like. But I ask you
    in return 'where does your response get us'??
