Dear Tracey, It should not matter if Dr. Shoemaker and your Lyme doctor get along or not. Dr. Shoemaker should have been nice to you or he could have been honest and tell you that he didn't like your Lyme doctor, or keep his feelings to himself. If he doesn't like your Lyme doctor that should have nothing to do with how he relates with you. We need to strive to find out what is making us sick and we shouldn't have to get the cold shoulder because we chose to go to another doctor. maybe he though you didn't have enough faith in him and it hurt his feeling but he should have been more professional about it, i don't agree that it's ok to be this way with a patient.But I do think he may be a good doctor in spite of his attitude.
