Post: Pesticides in Workplace and employee safety

I need to know if OSHA or EPA provides regulation for usage
of pesticides in a workplace such as a Courthouse in
Texas. I am unable to find this information. Are there
employer guidelines as to when an extermination / spraying
takes place and employee notification of spraying before it
occurs. This pertains to Texas. I have a patient who went
into anaphylatic shock after sitting in a chair that had
been recently sprayed. She reported people in her office
sprayed when they wanted to. No one else in the office has
been affected so they are not taking any protective
measures.
