Paul - Apparently you have already had an inspection
performed on your property by a mold investigator. They may
be able to provide you with several qualified remediators.
Another resource is the IAQA (IAQA.org). They can provide
you with a list of qualified vendors.
What you should look for is the following:
> Company with at least 5 years of experience
> Company with more than 1 employee and a truck
> Check with Better Business Bureau
> Ask for references
> Certifications - Certified Mold Remediator/Indoor
Environmentalist/Contractor
> Bonded, Licensed, and Insured with Pollution Liability
Coverage
> MSDS on all remediation chemistry to be used
> EPA registrations on all pesticides to be used
> Post Remediation testing
> Multi-year warranty on workmanship
> Forget the multi-year warranties on products - worthless
In addition, I would call back the initial investigation
company to perform additional post-remediation clearance to
ensure the remediation work was properly completed.
Good luck
