Re: Dr. Richard Lipsey - SPAMMER
Posted by Irritated on 1/24/07
It strikes me that every few months, 'someone' starts a Lipsey
thread that is answered by the 'usual' collection of responders,
some of whom like to get their opinion/testimonials in more than
once (by using several aliases). Overall, I get the distinct
feeling that we all get spammed by the Lipsey people when this
happens. Some of the testimonials are actually humorous;
particularly the one who noted Lipsey to be the 'most outstanding
forensic toxicologist in the country'. I can think of at least 100
forensic toxicologists who have been severely insulted by such a
claim. Also, I find it curious that if Thrasher and Lipsey have
worked so closely in the past, then why do they have to exchange
courtesies/pleasantries on this board. Can't they use private
email or telephone? If someone truly wants to dwelve into the
Lipsey qualifications, then check out whether some of the claims
in his website are accurate (and I'm referring to a lot more than
just the Illinois degree). Run his name through a search of
PUBMED, then ask yourself if his 'list' of publications is typical
for that of a highly qualified toxicologist. Please Dr. Lipsey,
since your making so much money as an 'expert', buy your
advertising, rather than trying to get it on the cheap.
Finally, I pose the question: Who among us truly believes that
Ira Besserman really wants to know about Lipsey?
