Interesting chat site and rightly so. Being a remediator there are
instances when a client will attempt to remediate the mold
themselves and then call me .I always need to know this and what
products did they initialy use before I apply my products.
This just happened to me wiht a client that applies bleach first
(by the way its a very toxic compound)so now rather then using my
EPA registered fungicide I'll have to applpy a product wiht a
clorine base.
RE: Bleach is not an effective mold killer do to its heavy water
base and the fact it disapates fast beforeit contacts the root
system of a mold spore ,lacking residual capabilities.
